The difference between Democrats, Republicans and Obamacare

We have been witnessing for years how the democrats have lied like a rug and deceived the public and how they have been supported by the MSM who cannot tell the truth and dislike our constitution except for the 1st Amendment.

The Republicans also lie like a rug, but they do not have the support of the MSM but most still believe in the constitution as written.

The democrats passed Obamacare (ACA) without reading the bill and according to the main architect, Jonathan Gruber, the American people were stupid and we fooled them.
The republicans under the leadership of Boehner, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell promised us for nearly 7 years that they had a plan to repeal and replace Obamacare.  Just give us the House.  They get the House and then they said, just give us the Senate.  They get the Senate and then it is they need the White House also.  They get the House, Senate and White House and still cannot pass a replacement for Obamacare, although they bragged about passing a repeal Obamacare bill in 2015 that President Obama vetoed.  Like they thought Pres. Obama would sign a bill vetoing his main legislative achievement.

So, after the election on Nov. 8th, one would think (the three most magical words) they would have had their repeal and replace bill ready to go.  After all, they insisted for nearly 7 years they had a bill.  It turns out, they lie just like the democrats.  They had no bill and when they attempted to develop a bill, all we heard from Paul Ryan (a Trump hater) that we must use the reconciliation process since we cannot just submit a repeal bill to President Trump.  Excuse me, but did you not just pass a bill two years ago that Obama vetoed.  Paul Ryan has no intention of repealing Obamacare since he and his many followers are more concerned on getting re-elected.  Even though Obamacare is a failure, cost is becoming excessive and many insurers are withdrawing, but getting elected is their primary objective.  In fact, this is the main objective of both parties and not saving our country on many issues.

Obamacare does not need to be repealed but can be replaced.  All Congress need to do is pass a bill that does away with Obamacare subsidies, include in the bill an option for people to either keep Obamacare or be able to purchase health insurance across state lines, from any insurer they wish, and the coverage they want.  In addition they can also purchase catastrophic insurance in addition or separate as their only insurance.  Improve Medicaid for those that are low income so doctors will be accept the coverage.  In addition, allow small businesses to form a coalition or group so they can purchase health insurance as a group to get lower premiums just as large businesses do.  Now, this seems such a simple process, but therein lies the problem, it is simple and we all know Congress cannot do simple.  This is close to what Sen. Rand Paul wants to do, but the republicans will not accept this idea because it is not complicated and it actually might work and be acceptable to the public.  Naturally, because of this, the republicans will look the other way.  The famous Paul Ryan 3 step process is all BS, most know this and most also know it will cost more than Obamacare does and be more Obamacare like.  Remember, Paul Ryan is not a fan of Trump and getting elected is his primary motivation.  As mentioned by Congressman Louie Gohmert Jr. when he spoke to Pres. Trump recently and told him that 2018 is another election year for the House and some members of the Senate and getting legislation passed will be nearly impossible.

All the House seats are up for election and 23 democrat seats in the Senate and 10 republican seats.  So, (again those there magic words) one would think the republicans in congress would do their best to push legislation on replacing Obamacare in a one step process and tax reform legislation.  But this requires performing the job they were elected to do, at least according to the voters, but it really is not the Ryan agenda.  We are witnessing a power struggle between Ryan and Trump.  Ryan believes since Trump is an outsider he does not know how congress works and so he thinks he can BS his way pass Trump.  However, Vice-President Pence, and AG Sessions do know, as well as other advisers do and we know Trump is a quick learner.  In Fact Trump is a worker, in the White House working 7 days a week, while congress spends more time not working and they have less than 35 working days remaining before they go on their August recess.  It was recently reported that the reason congress has an August recess goes way back before the Capital building had AC.   As I said many times before, how would you like a job paying $174,000 a year while working approximately 150 days a year and accomplishing very little.  President Trump is now exposing the ineptness of Congress and their rules and they do not like it.  How dare an outsider expose their hypocrisy.  We all knew congress was slow, but now Trump through his work ethics, they have been exposed.

We have the democrats who have stated emphatically they will resist and oppose Trump and the republicans, at least 50% of them, who do not want to be exposed for what they are, useless. So, they have excuses for not accomplishing anything and prefer the status quo.
