Lies, Lies and more Lies.

It seems that there now is documented proof of the lies of Nancy Pelosi and President Obama. Pelosi lied when she claimed she was not really told about water boarding, but now their documented evidence that she was told and the dates involved. President Obama claimed during the campaign that he had only one encounter with ACORN and now we have a video that shows candidate Obama acknowledging his involvement in ACORN. Another lie documented in a video. Both caught lying in their own words. Where is the lamestream media on reporting these lies. No where to be found. However, if this was a Tea Party Patriot, George W, or any other top Republican or Conservative, there would be newspaper headlines and one of the first topics on the nightly news. And they cannot understand why over 50% of the people would not vote for Obama or another Democrat for Congress. DUH.

The Commission

In order to avoid making decisions on how to reduce spending, increase taxes, get a handle on Social Security and Medicare expenses, President Obama, through executive order has established a commission to examine the problems of our deficit and outrageous spending and submit recommendations to implement to bring our economy, spending under control. Since during the campaign, candidate Obama promised not to raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000, he can violate is promise by following recommendations of this commission by claiming that although it is against his pledge, this is what the commission recommends and I will follow their advice. Thus President Obama believes he and Congress are going to avoid the wrath of the voters. How far from the truth. Obama must think the voter is stupid. Of course with the rhetoric he used during the campaign to get elected he may be right. However, since his election and his big spending programs (useless stimulus legislation) in addition to his push for Healthcare reform and Cap and Trade legislation as well as bailouts the American voter has awaken to this senseless spending and programs that will only destroy this country. He was elected to make the hard decisions and no commission is required or necessary to do this. That is his job and that of Congress unless you are one to avoid making the hard decision because it may affect your standing with the public, political future or party. This commission is all politics and proves we have a president that cannot make the hard decisions as we have seen this past year on both domestic and international problems. Yes, he did order additional troops to Afghanistan, but it took nearly 4 months to approve this move after the initial request was made. He had to see how the radical left would react to this decision rather than what was good for the troops and the country. As stated previously, President Obama is an egocentric, narcissistic individual and believes the world revolves around him and that is why when you listen to his speeches it contains many “I’s” rather than “we” or this country. We want a president that will make the decisions needed to get this country back on track and not rely on a commission to perform a presidential function. And what he needs to do is to make drastic cuts in spending, reduce the government payroll, eliminate the Dept. of Energy, Education (that should be a state function as the 10th Amendment would indicate), reduce function of EPA, Dept. of Agriculture, Dept. of Labor, Health and Human Services, Dept. of Interior or eliminate entirely these depts. and return these functions to the states. Also, we should re-think Homeland Security which is really a job of the FBI where all our energy should be placed. Homeland Security is just another boondoggle. Furthermore, we need to return the locked box to Social Security and all future payroll deductions be directed to this box as well as annually return the money the government took out and left IOU’s. For those who want to know why the locked box was eliminated, you only have to go back to 1964 and President Lyndon Johnson and his move towards a Great Society where all Social Security monies were transferred to the General Fund. By the way, he was a Democrat and had a Democratic controlled Congress. But the Republicans do not get a free pass since they did nothing since that time to try and change it back. But we continued to elect these jerks to Congress. Now is the time for them to pay the piper and vote them out in November.

Lies and deception.

According to the Obama Administration, the war in Iraq will be a great accomplishment for their administration. And this from Obama, Biden and Emmanuel who when they were in Congress did not support the surge but now want to take credit for a Bush accomplishment. Like we are going to buy into this lie.

The Stimulus bill has created or saved 2 million jobs, or thousands of jobs or 1.5 million jobs depending on who is spouting the lies. It is difficult to claim saved jobs when there is no way to verify this statistic. Of course the Feds give money out to the states to create jobs, and the states just include the funds in their budget and claim if it was not for this stimulus money police, fireman and teachers would have been laid off. It is odd how when layoffs are threatened how police and fireman are always the employees involved and not clerical or other personnel that will not affect public safety or education. Create a crisis and the public will buy into it. Remember we had to pass this Stimulus or unemployment would rise pass 8% and that there were thousands of shovel ready jobs just waiting. It seems the shovel ready jobs were not ready, unemployment went up to 10.2% and now stands at 9.7% with only 1/3 of the stimulus spent. And now they want another stimulus bill or jobs bill they like to call it when most of the first stimulus was not spent. Go figure. You can bet when the summer months come and the election in November draws closer we will see a rush to spend our tax dollars for their political benefit. But the voters are awakening as we have seen in the Tea Party movement and we will not be fooled by this skullduggery. Remember this in the November election and rid our government of the big spenders from both parties. We must cut the budget and spending or we will become a country in demise. Cuts will hurt all of us, but at least we will not be slaves to the Chinese, Japanese or those other countries that we owe our souls to with all borrowing we have done. And finally in order to save over $700 Billion plus a year, we must “drill here and drill now” rather then send our hard earned money overseas to support those countries and terrorist that want to destroy us. Nobody has developed clean energy that could support any country’s economy and until that emerges we must use what we have while still developing alternative sources of energy. We can be a leader in both energy sources.

VP Biden and his mouth

It seems that VP Biden is trying to claim that the Obama Administration is responsible for all the success in Iraq. This from an administration that did not support the surge when they were in Congress and during the campaign did not have anything nice to say about our success in Iraq. Like we are going to believe them now that they are responsible for all the good that has taken place. Such hypocrites. But then again, they are desperate for any military success and will claim any victory they can. Of course they have already forgotten that it was President Bush that began the Drone attacks in Pakistan in 2008. President Obama is in a bind on both Iraq and Afghanistan where withdrawal or failure is not an option for his administration. Gee, ain't that sad.

KSM trials and NYC

The trials of KSM and his comrades in NYC may not take place after all due to all the adverse reaction by both Republicans and Democrats. It seems the elections in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts have hasten this debate to have a military tribunal instead of criminal court prosecution. Of course the original idea for a trial in NYC was to embarrass the Bush administration and the intelligence community to the world and that the world would see and the radical left that President Obama is a different kind of president that believes in truth, justice and the American way. Of course Superman he is not even though there have been some sightings of Obama walking on water. But I think that is just publicity for his failing administration. You see how Obama and company have become very thin skinned on issues and “how dare we question anything they do.” But that is what the Constitution permits us to do at the present time even though this group is doing their best to circumvent the Constitution. The fall elections in 2010 hopefully will send a clear message to this administration that the American people will not stand idly by while they attempt to introduce us to a socialist form of government. We are a Republic, a representative form of government and not a Democracy. If you want a democracy move to Venezuela. After all, they had free and fair elections.

Healthcare meeting

President Obama has decided to meet with the Republicans on 2/25 to discuss healthcare. However, he wants to get their suggestions to add to the already unwanted healthcare bill passed by the House and Senate. It is obvious he still does not get it. With the elections in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts where the people rejected this administration's attempt to force feed their agenda down our throats, President Obama wants to begin negotiations with the Republicans not from square one but from the already rejected healthcare plans the Democrats developed behind closed doors. This President is an egocentric person who does not get the message since he believes it is all about him and he has been elected to save the world. But in reality, it is him we must save the world from. The world governments are beginning to realize this and in less than one year, the American people realize the change promised is not the change desired.

Congress and the 2010 budget

The Presidents budget with the anticipated deficit of at least $1.5 Trillion is unsustainable especially when by the year 2020 we will see a total deficit of over $20 Trillion. Are we going nuts. This type of spending is what got us into this financial mess in the first place. Our eyes being bigger than our wallets. If cutting spending applies to us, it must also apply to government. If it was possible to spend oneself into prosperity, we would all be borrowing like crazy. We know that is not true and the same applies to the Federal government. We must stop this madness and get our spending under control. Whether we like it or not, Congress must show courage and cut, cut and cut. If this spending continues we will become a 4th world country. Spending is not the way to prosperity. Our parents and grandparents who lived during the depression always told us to be careful on spending and those of us that lived by this rule are not suffering as much as other citizens. We must balance this 2011 budget proposal and make the drastic cuts to achieve this result. The big question is will Congress have to courage to do this or will it be business as usual because Congress is more interested in getting elected and pleasing the electorate and make their decisions accordingly?

Congress must remember, the electorate is being mobilized like never before as indicated in Tea Party events, the elections in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts. We will not stand for this type of no action by our representatives. This madness must stop and it must begin with Congress. Also, Congress must be reminded we are a Republic and not a Democracy. Look it up, there is a difference and that is why our Founding Fathers gave us this form of government.

Obama, the budget and us

President Obama unveils his $3 trillion plus budget with a $1.3 billion deficit attached to it. Now we all know we cannot continually spend more than we have every year. Isn’t this what got us in trouble with people buying homes where their eyes were bigger than their wallets? Eventually it catches up and Voila!, we have an economic collapse that began in 2006. But it appears Congress, this administration and the Bush administration have not gotten the message. This cannot continue. We must write our representatives, majority and minority leadership and demand that we balance the budget. We will all take a hit, but it is better than this country declaring bankruptcy that it will do if we continue down this path. Of course we can tax everyone at 100% and we still would not cover our $12.3 trillion deficit. We cannot live this way and neither should the government. Return the Social Security and Medicare funds being collected back to the locked box and not in the general fund for Congress to spend. These entitlements eat up nearly 60% of the budget now and it will only get worse if we continue to spend, spend, spend. Then again. maybe that is what Pelosi, Reid and Obama had in mind when they tried to get their version of healthcare passed by having these death panels to eliminate these recipients. President Lyndon Johnson, his fellow Democratic controlled Congress were responsible for the Great Society that also included opening the locked box and move the SS funds into the general fund for all to spend on more social programs. We are a republic, not a socialist society and this must stop. The radical socialist have control at this time, but come November we will change that.
