Hillary and the $600 Haircut

So Hillary Clinton who likes to advertise herself as the champion of the middle income and poor, pushes against Wall Street money and the 1% while collecting money from these same companies.  However, she does not discuss the exclusive gated home where she lives in Chappaqua N.Y., all the money she is receiving from Wall Street for her election campaign over many years, as well as her $600 haircut at Bergdorf Goodman’s on 5^th Ave in NYC.  How many of the middle income and poor can enjoy a $600 haircut. How many of us would even pay $600 for a haircut or even afford a $600 haircut.  This only exposes the hypocrisy of the Clinton’s.  Remember, it was Pres. Bill Clinton that got a $200 haircut on Air Force One while the plane was on the ground and thereby causing the airport to divert all incoming planes and prevent planes from taking off.  I guess when you think you are royalty, you can do this.  Contrary to what the Clinton’s claim or what they say, they despise those who are not rich or do not cater to their demands.  When will the American voter awaken?  Or according to the University of New Hampshire, you must say, white European American, or U.S. Citizen.  Also, remember, right after Hillary preached about more solar panels and less dependency on fossil fuels, she flies away in a private jet that consumes thousands of gallons of fossil fuel.  Only the peasants must resort to solar panels and windmills while the Clinton elites use that dreaded fossil fuel.  What is good for you is not good for them.  Period, Amen.  Wake up America.  The Clintons lie and have done so since they resided in Arkansas.  But, then again, “What difference does it make”.

The Louisiana Shooting

Again another shooting where people died and again the shooter is reported to have mental health issues and again, everyone knew and nothing was done. But rest assured these same liberals that wanted mental health facilities closed will now be champion gun restrictions. If they want gun restrictions, then the progressive socialist should push for repeal of the 2^nd Amendment.  Something they know will not happen so they will push for firearm restrictions that will be unconstitutional, but when you have a president that has a pen and phone, what does the constitution have to do with this.  These socialist/Marxist do not like the Bill of Rights anyway and believe all our rights should come from government and not unalienable rights from God as declared in our Declaration of Independence.  After all, they are also trying to remove God from our lives and makes us a secular society.  That is why they are using Obamacare to go after religious organizations.  This is their agenda, no God, no religion and government becomes your God.

Planned Parenthood Videos

So far, two videos have been released showing Planned Parenthood describing how to perform abortions in order to salvage body parts for research.  Naturally, the pro-death people are aghast that someone would actually produce such a secret recording.  Of course they are berating the producers of the video for taking such action and not showing disgust for what is being said on the videos.  They argue the video was edited when in fact the entire video is approximately two hours long and anyone can watch the video if they wish.  But the pro-death advocates don’t want the public to do so since it will show that their argument has no validity.  As a people, we have made great strides in preserving human life unlike what the Nazis did when they used exterminating camps to destroy life.  In fact, Hitler was so enthralled by founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger’s eugenics ideas, he implemented them.  How far we have come.  Planned Parenthood considers life viable after birth but as long as the baby is in the womb, it can be murdered and depending on how the murder is performed, you can salvage body parts for sale.  Through improvements in technology, we now know that life begins at conception, a beating heart can be detected between 18 to 21 days and an ultrasound can verify that the womb contains a live human being.  So, now life becomes cheap, we see a collapse of respect for life throughout society, morality on the decline and some of us wonder where we went wrong as a society.  Well, now you know.

1984 Has Finally Arrived

A key part of President Obama’s legacy will be the fed’s unprecedented collection of sensitive data on Americans by race. The government is prying into our most personal information at the most local levels, all for the purpose of “racial and economic justice.”

Unbeknown to most Americans, Obama’s racial bean counters are furiously mining data on their health, home loans, credit cards, places of work, neighborhoods, even how their kids are disciplined in school — all to document “inequalities” between minorities and whites.

This Orwellian-style stockpile of statistics includes a vast and permanent network of discrimination databases, which Obama already is using to make “disparate impact” cases against: banks that don’t make enough prime loans to minorities; schools that suspend too many blacks; cities that don’t offer enough Section 8 and other low-income housing for minorities; and employers who turn down African-Americans for jobs due to criminal backgrounds.

Big Brother Barack wants the databases operational before he leaves office, and much of the data in them will be posted online.

So civil-rights attorneys and urban activist groups will be able to exploit them to show patterns of “racial disparities” and “segregation,” even if no other evidence of discrimination exists.

Obama is presiding over the largest consolidation of personal data in US history.

Housing database

The granddaddy of them all is the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing database, which the Department of Housing and Urban Development rolled out earlier this month to racially balance the nation, ZIP code by ZIP code. It will map every US neighborhood by four racial groups — white, Asian, black or African-American, and Hispanic/Latino — and publish “geospatial data” pinpointing racial imbalances.

The agency proposes using nonwhite populations of 50% or higher as the threshold for classifying segregated areas.

Federally funded cities deemed overly segregated will be pressured to change their zoning laws to allow construction of more subsidized housing in affluent areas in the suburbs, and relocate inner-city minorities to those predominantly white areas. HUD’s maps, which use dots to show the racial distribution or density in residential areas, will be used to select affordable-housing sites.

HUD plans to drill down to an even more granular level, detailing the proximity of black residents to transportation sites, good schools, parks and even supermarkets. If the agency’s social engineers rule the distance between blacks and these suburban “amenities” is too far, municipalities must find ways to close the gap or forfeit federal grant money and face possible lawsuits for housing discrimination.

Civil-rights groups will have access to the agency’s sophisticated mapping software, and will participate in city plans to re-engineer neighborhoods under new community outreach requirements.

“By opening this data to everybody, everyone in a community can weigh in,” Obama said. “If you want affordable housing nearby, now you’ll have the data you need to make your case.”

Mortgage database

Meanwhile, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, headed by former Congressional Black Caucus leader Mel Watt, is building its own database for racially balancing home loans. The so-called National Mortgage Database Project will compile 16 years of lending data, broken down by race, and hold everything from individual credit scores and employment records.

Mortgage contracts won’t be the only financial records vacuumed up by the database. According to federal documents, the repository will include “all credit lines,” from credit cards to student loans to car loans — anything reported to credit bureaus. This is even more information than the IRS collects.

The FHFA will also pry into your personal assets and debts and whether you have any bankruptcies. The agency even wants to know the square footage and lot size of your home, as well as your interest rate.

FHFA will share the info with Obama’s brainchild, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which acts more like a civil-rights agency, aggressively investigating lenders for racial bias.

The FHFA has offered no clear explanation as to why the government wants to sweep up so much sensitive information on Americans, other than stating it’s for “research” and “policymaking.”

However, CFPB Director Richard Cordray was more forthcoming, explaining in a recent talk to the radical California-based Greenlining Institute: “We will be better able to identify possible discriminatory lending patterns.”

Credit database

CFPB is separately amassing a database to monitor ordinary citizens’ credit-card transactions. It hopes to vacuum up some 900 million credit-card accounts — all sorted by race — representing roughly 85% of the US credit-card market. Why? To sniff out “disparities” in interest rates, charge-offs and collections.

Employment database

CFPB also just finalized a rule requiring all regulated banks to report data on minority hiring to an Office of Minority and Women Inclusion. It will collect reams of employment data, broken down by race, to police diversity on Wall Street as part of yet another fishing expedition.

School database

Through its mandatory Civil Rights Data Collection project, the Education Department is gathering information on student suspensions and expulsions, by race, from every public school district in the country. Districts that show disparities in discipline will be targeted for reform.

Those that don’t comply will be punished. Several already have been forced to revise their discipline policies, which has led to violent disruptions in classrooms.

Obama’s educrats want to know how many blacks versus whites are enrolled in gifted-and-talented and advanced placement classes.

Schools that show blacks and Latinos under-enrolled in such curricula, to an undefined “statistically significant degree,” could open themselves up to investigation and lawsuits by the department’s Civil Rights Office.

Count on a flood of private lawsuits to piggyback federal discrimination claims, as civil-rights lawyers use the new federal discipline data in their legal strategies against the supposedly racist US school system.

Even if no one has complained about discrimination, even if there is no other evidence of racism, the numbers themselves will “prove” that things are unfair.

Such databases have never before existed. Obama is presiding over the largest consolidation of personal data in US history. He is creating a diversity police state where government race cops and civil-rights lawyers will micromanage demographic outcomes in virtually every aspect of society.

The first black president, quite brilliantly, has built a quasi-reparations infrastructure perpetually fed by racial data that will outlast his administration.

Sanctuary Shooting and Obama’s Silence

People are asking the question why President Obama did not respond to the shooting of Katy Steinle in San Francisco when he was quick to respond with the arrest of a professor in Mass., the thug Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO. and the death in Baltimore among other events.  Well, the answer is quite simple.  Katy was not black, gay or a Muslim and was not involved with police action.

Hillary Clinton’s Economic Plan

Very simple to understand.  Tax the rich, spend, spend and spend.  We are seeing this today under Obamanomics that has resulted in a stagnant economy and income decline.  The lowest worker participation rate in over 40 years and a false unemployment rate of 5.2% when the real unemployment is between 12% and 20% that is acknowledged by everyone who understands our economy.  Why, because when a person stops receiving unemployment benefits, they are dropped from the unemployment rate resulting in a decline.  Again, you also have those who took any job they could get rather than have no income or are working two or even three jobs to provide for their family.  Not what is being reported factually.   Then we do not want to dwell on Obamacare where people businesses have resorted to having workers do 29 hours when Obama and company believe 30 hours is full time employment.  As I have said repeatedly, and Margaret Thatcher also, “you eventually run out of other people’s money”.  If you own a business, you need to make money to stay in business and provide income for yourself and family.  Under Obamanomics and the Hillarynomics, government is the answer not the individual entrepreneur.  Private businesses are the employer not government. When government spends, that money comes from somewhere, like from your paycheck.   Contrary to what Obama and Hillary claim, the middle income people suffer under their socialist ideology agenda.  History has proven this, but in giving speeches it sounds good and the clueless vote for them, but will never receive the benefits promised from the campaign speeches.  Understand, in socialist, Marxist and communist countries, you have the rich and the poor, no middle income population.

Less government regulations and tax breaks for all, has shown that this increases economic growth.  Our country is the prime example not South America, Europe, Cuba, Russia, North Korea and China where the bubble is about to burst under the communist controlled capitalism where false data is coming home to roost.  But we are in a stagnant economy today due to a tremendous government regulations that is stifling business thus decreasing employment and income of the employee. 

By the way, Hillary likes attacking bankers and Wall Street where most of her campaign funds come from.  In addition, when she attacks the rich, she should look in the mirror where her and her husband made over $25 million dollars last year.  Wouldn’t it be nice if we all could get $300,000 to $500,000 a speech? 

The Confederate Flag

So, we have finally removed the Confederate flag from the South Carolina government grounds and we can all live in peace knowing that shootings of innocent people will end.  Of course, every weekend in Chicago we will have the usual slaughter of people and the president will not utter a word.  But, let a thug in Ferguson Mo. get killed for his crime of robbery and attempting forcibly trying to take a police officer’s gun and the president will send 40 FBI agents, DOJ lawyers and Al Sharpton.  Let an innocent person get killed in San Francisco by an illegal immigrant, and the president remains silent.  Of course, she was not a professor in Mass. or a person (Treyvon Martin) allegedly shot in self-defense by a white person.  But we need not worry, the Confederate Flag has been removed.  Shootings by people with mental health issues will continue and rest assured we will have the usual rhetoric we need gun control and not more medical help in identifying those suffering from mental illness and providing services.

Just think, if people spoke out before the shootings in Columbine Colorado, Sandy Hook Connecticut, South Carolina and the shooting of Rep. Gabby Giffords in Arizona.  All these shooters showed unusual behavior, but it was the usual “I do not want to get involved thought process”. 

Now, we can all live in peace except for ISIS, Terrorism threats, Russian aggression, North Korea, Iran getting a nuclear weapon and of course our bludgeoning deficit.

We will also continue hear black lives matter, except we will not hear those words expressed outside an abortion clinic where black lives do not matter. 

 

Capitalism vs. socialism, Marxism and communism and the Pope

Today the Pope seemed to indicate that capitalism has created the poverty problems we see in the world today.  This is an interesting statement from someone who is knowledgeable and respected on religious issues within the Catholic Church, but on other issues is a little confused to say the least. 

The United States, as compared to other countries that have been in existence long before we gained our independence as a Republic, has grown to be the most dominate economic and military country in world history.  We accomplished all this within 230 years.  Now, why is that?  Because we allowed the individual to exceed with limited government regulations through the entrepreneur spirit of our citizens.  When you can develop company starting in your garage or basement and the company becomes a leading world company shows what we can do and have done through entrepreneurship. 

The United States is also the leading country in charitable donations worldwide and when there is destruction in the world due to earthquakes, floods and other calamities, we are usually the first country on the scene through our military bringing much needed supplies and manpower.   No other country has the capability to do this.  Through our naval ships, we are also able to produce over 50,000 gallons of drinking water for those in need.  Again, name another country capable of doing this.  In fact, name a socialist, Marxist or communist country capable of doing all we have done. 

Socialist, Marxist and communist only destroy countries as history has shown in the past.  The Soviet Union, Eastern communist countries, present day Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Greece, the other Eurozone countries that are on the brink and today China that will eventually implode. 

So today we hear from the Pope on the evils of capitalism when we know he was educated grew up under socialism and Marxism government and ideology.  The countries of South America embraced this ideology and have themselves to blame.  Under this ideology, only the political elite enjoy the benefits that others enjoy and not the people they are supposed to help.  In Russia the communist all had their Dacha ( summer residence) Castro had his villas, Ortega in Venezuela had their residences and unlimited supplies of food and other items, North Korea elite do not go hungry or live in unheated homes as well as what the members of the communist party enjoy in China.  In our country we have our great leader, Obama enjoying the great life, traveling when he wants, eating what he wants, ( Michele approves) golfing for free and anything else he wants while telling the people how they are suffering from income inequality and cannot make it without the government help.  Of course, before him and his Saul Alinsky ideology, we did all right as a country.  Yes, we had and have our ups and downs, but we have survived them and came out better.  The question to ask, will we survive 8 years of Obama and God help us with a continuation of his policies if Hillary ever got elected.  We have seen nearly 7 years of Obama lying to the American people and today are witnessing the over 20 years of lies by Hillary.  When will the American people wake up and realize this?  When will the Pope awaken and realize that history has shown that capitalism is responsible for the improvement of lives throughout the world not socialism, Marxism and communism that have only destroyed lives?

Sanctuary Cities

There are approximately 200 plus sanctuary cities where illegal immigrants can go and not be arrested for crimes they have committed elsewhere and in those sanctuary cities they are residing in, if their crime does not generate publicity.  However, we all know that the reason we have sanctuary cities is because of the republicans.  I do not know if the socialist/Marxist democrats have blamed former Pres. Bush yet, but I am sure that will happen. After all, if there is something we have learned over the last 10 years is that liberals will not blame their policy failures on themselves.  When did anyone in the Obama administration take blame for Fast and Furious, NSA spying, Benghazi, IRS scandal, ISIS overrunning the Middle East and terrorist attacks in our country.  Oh, excuse me, we have never had a terrorist attack in this country since 9/11.  What we had was just radical right wing individuals or groups engage in criminal behavior.  I mean, Major Hussein and Ft. Hood was just a disgruntled soldier and considered workplace violence.  Workplace violence is the major excuse for any terror attack or if possible blame the Tea Party.  Now we have the Mayor of Baltimore firing the police commissioner and blaming him for the riots in the city and the mayor of San Francisco, blaming the sheriff for the release of the illegal immigrant that killed Kate Steinle.  Never allow anyone use liberal socialist policies as the reason.  I think Hitler, Ortega, Castro, Putin have used those excuses.  So, do not be surprised if Obama, Reid and Pelosi do the same.  Right out of the Saul Alinsky “Rules for Radicals”.

It’s OK That Illegals Murder Americans, As Long As They Vote For Democrats

Over the past week or two, one immigration story has captured the attention of the country.

Kathryn Steinle, a 32-year-old woman in San Francisco, was brutally murdered by an illegal alien who’d previously been deported five times. Killer Juan Lopez-Sanchez admitted to the deed, telling a local news outlet that he specifically chose to go to San Francisco because it’s a “sanctuary city” — meaning, it doesn’t enforce immigration laws.

The Department of Justice has allowed these cities to openly defy federal law, which makes me wonder whether Alabama can call itself a “sanctuary state” and refuse to recognize the legalization of gay marriage. Something tells me the Obama administration’s respect for local discretion only extends to open borders advocates.

Anyway, Sanchez says he killed the young woman while hopped up on sleeping pills he found in a trash can. Giving different versions of the story at various times, he first said he shot the gun at sea lions, and then said he accidentally discharged it three times in the direction of Ms. Steinle. Those explanations are difficult to take seriously, but whatever the case, as other countries look to assimilate only the best, brightest, and most morally upstanding into their ranks, we open our arms to convicted felons who scavenge in dumpsters for discarded prescription pills before shooting our neighbors to death.

One strategy is sensible, the other progressive. Mutually exclusive designations, as usual.

Nations that care about their culture, their future, and the safety of their citizens treat immigration with the sort of rigorous, mature, serious scrutiny it requires. But in this country, which is apparently being run by preschoolers in Velcro shoes, we toss law, order, rationality, borders, national security, human life, truth, and assimilation to the side on the grounds that the murderer sorting through your garbage might have happy dreams. The fact that he’s dreaming about getting high and “accidentally” slaughtering women is not relevant.

But I’m off on a tangent here.  The story about Kathryn Steinle, an innocent woman who’d likely still be alive if not for progressive immigration policies, is not the important immigration-related story that’s so dominated our national conversation. It hasn’t gotten much coverage at all, outside of conservative outlets. What really shocked and appalled millions in our country was, of course, Donald Trump’s now infamous remark about illegals who “bring crime and drugs.” Because saying some illegals are murderers is far worse than illegals actually murdering, it turns out.

Trump’s accurate statements led to condemnations from every corner of society, including many of his henpecked competitors in the Republican presidential field. Trump faced financial penalties on top of the public scolding, getting fired by NBC and abandoned by his business partners. I’m not a Trump fan, and I doubt that he’s even particularly sincere in his “conservative” ideology – he’s been a Sugar Daddy for Hillary Clinton for years — but what he said is nonetheless correct. Interestingly, millions of the fragile snowflakes in our country were offended, but none could quite articulate the error in his assertions.

Illegals are bringing drugs and crime, aren’t they? Steinle’s murderer brought drugs, crime, and murder — the illegal alien trifecta — and he’s not alone.

The government itself assigns “threat levels” to the immigrant criminals it detains and subsequently releases, and a large portion of them are dangerous felons. In 2014, the illegals Immigration and Customs Enforcement released back into our population were responsible for a cumulative 80,000 criminal convictions. We’re talking about hundreds of murderers, sex offenders, and kidnappers, and thousands of drunk drivers.

Homeland Security reports that legal and illegal immigrants comprise some 20 percent of the prison and jail population in this country, and in some communities, particularly along the border, illegal immigrants alone make up over 20 percent. Going back earlier in the Obama reign, between 2008 and 2011, illegals released from custody committed 16,000 crimes, including over 100 sex crimes and 19 murders. And these are just the ones we have on record, and just the ones captured and released again, and just according to the government. The actual numbers are, obviously, much higher.

A report in 2004 showed that 95 percent of outstanding homicide warrants in Los Angeles were for illegal aliens. Less than two years ago, the DOJ reported that America’s border towns are the most crime ridden in the country. Cities like El Paso, San Diego, and Brownsville have been struggling to cope with the violence that spills over from the other side of the border for many years now.

Maybe I’m an immigrantphobe, but if thousands of illegals are bringing drugs, crime, and rape into our country, it stands to reason that someone would be right in claiming that illegals are bringing drugs, crime, and rape into our country. I suppose the real question, then, is how many drugs, murdered Americans, and raped women and children do we need before liberals, and particularly this president, will consider it a problem?

The answer: Infinite. Immigrants vote for Democrats, therefore it doesn’t matter what else they do. It’s that simple. This is not my cynical take on things, it’s just how liberalism operates.

The predominant ideology in our culture — or at least the one controlling the government, media, Hollywood, and academia — is a perverse moral vacuum. It is entirely bankrupt, ethically and intellectually, and it has no innate concern for human life. This is a difficult truth to come to terms with, but it’s about time we face it. Liberalism teaches its adherents to judge a person’s life and dignity conditionally. If her life is useful to some end, especially a political end, it’s valuable and its destruction is a tragedy. If not, then the matter is moot and her death will be ignored.

That’s why, unfortunately, you can’t even take a liberal seriously when he laments illegal alien children who are “victimized” by deportation. This is a person, keep in mind, who thinks all human children are eligible to have their brains sucked out of their skulls. While they say “think of the children” in relation to immigration, they say “forget the children” when it comes to abortion. A child has the right to cross the border, but not to live, they say. This is liberal logic at its most depraved.

Meanwhile, the White House on Monday had the audacity to blame Republicans for Ms. Steinle’s death.  Look, I understand politics and all that, but this is just plain evil. Barack Obama has declared publicly many times that he will not fully enforce our immigration laws. He says Republicans won’t work with him on immigration reform, but his reform would just grant more amnesty to more illegals.

San Francisco is one of the most liberal cities in the country, run by a liberal mayor who employs the liberal policy of non-enforcement, which is a localized version of the policy Obama has enacted nationwide. But Republicans are at fault here? What?

To make matters worse, the federal government is advertising food stamps in Spanish language flyers, emphasizing, and I quote: “You need not divulge information regarding your immigration status in seeking this benefit for your children.” Translation: Come here and our government with the $17 trillion debt will give you free stuff, no questions asked. This has all led to the predictable conclusion of immigrants ignoring our laws, confident they won’t be enforced anyway.

Of course, Obama claims the border is more secure than ever, with the fewest illegal border crossings in 40 years, but the agents on the ground testify otherwise. Border Agent Chris Cabrera, in testimony to the Senate Homeland Security Committee, said the numbers are being fudged by higher ups, and the men in the field routinely face reprisals if they deliver honest data to their superiors.

This is the situation. It’s not just about one incident, it’s about a culture of moral and legal corruption that leads to what happened in San Francisco. These crimes are not isolated, in fact Ms. Steinle wasn’t even the only woman murdered by an illegal in the span of 24 hours. Even as I write this, yet another previously deported illegal alien has been charged with a felony, this time a hit-and-run involving young children.

We have a problem. This is a problem.

And these cases are representative of the ongoing epidemic that inevitably follows when our nation allows unfettered immigration from a hellish, crime-ridden nation governed by drug syndicates.  There’s a reason nobody wants to stay in Mexico, and it has a lot to do with Mexican criminals.

A study a few years ago found that one in three Mexicans want to leave their country, and over 80 percent describe crime as a major problem. If Mexicans are worried about criminals in Mexico, I think we have reason to share that concern.

You can’t blame someone for trying to flee a deathtrap where cartels routinely leave headless bodies in the street, but no thinking person can blame a neighboring country for wanting to make sure the people coming over aren’t the ones doing the beheading. It’s an exceedingly logical proposition that a country ought to be careful and considered about who it lets in, no matter what sort of country borders it, but especially if the nation to its south is filled to the brim with violence and chaos. Mexico understands this, which is why it has strict procedures in place to deal with anyone crazy enough to enter it without proper documentation.

Kathryn Steinle’s heinous murder is symptomatic, and because it’s symptomatic it’s also symbolic. Democrats will tell us it’s neither of these, but these are the same people who often use isolated, fabricated crimes to invent epidemics out of whole cloth. They certainly don’t have much of a leg to stand on when it comes to lecturing about not “exploiting” tragedies.

Liberals will latch onto any hoax to advance a narrative built on distortions and falsehoods, while simultaneously telling the rest of us to never point to something that actually happened to highlight what’s actually happening.

And here’s what actually happened: Kathryn Steinle was killed by an illegal immigrant who sought out a city with progressive immigration policies and then proceeded to use the protection it afforded him to slaughter an innocent woman. This is a big deal. It’s the kind of thing that should spark change. If liberals can use fake crimes and hoaxes and false narratives to push sweeping cultural and legislative transformation across the country, can’t we use real problems to do the same?

But it shouldn’t even come to this. Those of us who believe a country should have laws and borders shouldn’t be reduced to begging our government to enforce them so that, at the very least, our women won’t be murdered and our children won’t be gang raped.

We shouldn’t have to point to death and destruction to convince our leaders to take the fantastically reasonable step of requiring that immigrants become citizens if they want to live here. America should enforce its immigration laws not just because of rape and murder, but because they are our laws. The root of the problem is the obliteration of our national sovereignty brought about by a refusal to enforce them. The deaths of many, many Americans at the hands (and cars) of illegals are fruit growing from the tree of lawlessness fostered by our government.

It also should be said that proponents of tougher (or, at a minimum, existent) immigration enforcement don’t lack for “compassion.” We certainly ought to have compassion for the less fortunate, but since when do the less fortunate benefit from the undermining and weakening of the thing that’s supposed to bestow the better fortune upon them? If I want immigrants to enjoy the prosperity of our nation, it would make sense to preserve it. Our nation is indeed a nation of immigrants, but to keep that title it needs to remain a nation in the first place. And nations have borders. All nations have borders.

Real compassion is the sort that covers both the next Kathryn Steinle, and the next Hispanic immigrant. I want them both to bask in the light of a stable, secure, civilized country — which means being careful and organized about who we let through. It means creating an environment where all who live here might experience the rewards of American compassion, and those who don’t might look forward to the possibility, provided they are good, upstanding, contributing people who are willing to follow the process and respect our laws.

What we should be discussing is a drastic slowdown, if not a complete halt, in all immigration, legal and illegal, for a period of time. Let us get a hold of ourselves for a while and work on assimilating those who have already come here legally. Think of this as the national equivalent of the safety instructions they give you on an airplane: put your mask on first, then help those around you. After all, if you’re unconscious or dead, you won’t be of much use to the elderly woman sitting to your right. Similarly, if we become Mexico, we can’t very well be of much service to Mexicans who want to escape Mexico.

Of course, that will never happen. We can’t even all agree that illegal immigration should be controlled, let alone legal immigration. But it helps to reflect upon the point and purpose of immigration, which is not simply to give food stamps and Social Security benefits to the entire Third World, but to strengthen this country, and through strengthening it to provide opportunity and liberty to the immigrant. We are strengthened as a nation, and thus able to give those opportunities, not by playing host to every drunk, thief, deviant, or thug who happens to wander across the border, but by holding immigrants to a certain standard. By saying, “it means something to be an American; it’s more than just living within our geographical boundaries.”

This is why immigration enforcement is not a personal affront to immigrants. It’s for their benefit as well as ours. And I do understand why they come here. I wouldn’t want to live in Mexico anymore than Mexicans do. But the ones who are good and decent people should not protest our reasonable laws and procedures. They’ve seen what a lawless, anarchic country looks like. They should understand and support our efforts to avoid becoming the thing they just left.

But whether they understand or not, the facts are clear. When you don’t enforce your immigration laws, there are consequences. The destruction of our national identity and the strain on our economy are two types of consequences, and the death of Ms. Steinle is another type.

We deserve better. Ms. Steinle certainly deserved better. And now we should demand it, for her sake and ours.

 

Sanctuary Cities

There are approximately 200 sanctuary cities where illegal immigrants can go and not be arrested for crimes they have committed elsewhere and in those sanctuary cities they are residing in, if their crime does not generate publicity.  However, we all know that the reason we have sanctuary cities is because of the republicans.  I do not know if the socialist/Marxist democrats have blamed former Pres. Bush yet, but I am sure that will happen. After all, if there is something we have learned over the last 10 years is that liberals will not blame their policy failures on themselves.  When did anyone in the Obama administration take blame for Fast and Furious, NSA spying, Benghazi, IRS scandal, ISIS overrunning the Middle East and terrorist attacks in our country.  Oh, excuse me, we have never had a terrorist attack in this country since 9/11.  What we had was just radical right wing individuals or groups engage in criminal behavior.  I mean, Major Hussein and Ft. Hood was just a disgruntled soldier and considered workplace violence.  Workplace violence is the major excuse for any terror attack or if possible blame the Tea Party.  Never allow anyone use liberal socialist policies as the reason.  I think Hitler, Ortega, Castro, Putin have used those excuses.  So, do not be surprised if Obama, Reid and Pelosi do the same.  Right out of the Saul Alinsky “Rules for Radicals”.   

Money, Taxes and the 2016 Election

This election is the time to get a candidate to commit to changes in our tax laws and give us a flat tax.   Presently our tax code is nearly 70,000 pages.  We need a candidate that will stand on a stage with 70,000 pages on one side and a two sided paper in his hand.   Very easy to get the citizens to understand our growing tax code that nobody understands.  The tax code is so large because our honest members of Congress do their best to pass an addition to the code to benefit their benefactors and the last thing they want is a change even though they may claim they do.   So what we need is a double sided one page tax code that would give us a flat tax of 15 to 17 %.  We would only have one deduction for charitable donations and the first $30,000 a person makes would not be taxed.  This tax would also include social security deduction.  And to benefit those collecting Social Security, the first $20,000 would not be taxed.  All this you could fit on one page.  Now which one would the people choose?  The 70,000 page tax code that nobody understands or the one page code.  Combine this with an actual cut in spending to reduce our $18 Trillion burgeoning deficit. 

All we hear is congress coming up with a plan to balance our budget over 10 years.  Meanwhile, as they attempt to do this, the deficit will continue to grow so that by that 10 year period our deficit would be closer to $25 Trillion.  Of course they do not tell you that little bit of information.  What many people do not understand is that every year, agency budgets have a built in increase from approximately 7 to 10%.  So when congress claims they have cut the budget to a particular agency, they have just cut the percentage of increase already built in.  So the 7 to 10% may become 4 to 8%.  Some cut.  But the members of congress on both sides of the aisle can go home to their constituents and claim the cuts they made.  Just more lies and deception since most voters are clueless on how the system works.  That is why you need a new tax code and real and actual budget cuts above and beyond the so called built in increase.  Both political parties lie to continue this charade since they are really only interested in getting elected. 

Another reason we need a new direction who we select for our next president.  We cannot go with the establishment candidates both parties want us to select.  That is Hillary or Jeb.  It will be the same old thing with these two.  Whoever the eventual candidate is for either party, they must show the voters how they are going to change the tax code and reduce our deficit.  Because if you think what is happening in Greece is just a European problem, look again at our deficit that is growing the same way Greece has.  Government making promises they cannot keep, spending money they do not have, promising people unemployed an endless supply of unemployment checks.  Margaret Thatcher had it correct when she said, “socialism is great until you run out of other people’s money”.  That is what happened in Greece, spending money they did not have by borrowing from the European Union and offering fantastic benefits, like early retirement, rich pensions, 6 weeks vacation and long and extensive unemployment checks.  If you think we are not heading down this same road, then either you just arrived on this planet, are clueless or you believe we can just tax the rich to pay for everyone else.  Some day the money runs out as it did in Greece.
