London Terrorist Attack, Again

In England we have seen three terrorist attacks in the last three months. One on Westminster Bridge, Manchester and now the London Bridge attack.
The London Bridge attack is interesting when the first responding police officer encountered the three radical Islamist who had long knives with only his baton and consequently was cut and stabbed.  One would think, that with all the terrorist attacks in England and Europe, that the history of the England law enforcement officers not carrying firearms with be ended.  If this London officer was armed with a 9mm, 15 ammo clip, those three terrorist would have been shot and other lives might have been saved from death or serious injury, including his own.
To go one step further, if England had a 2nd Amendment similar to ours, it is quite possible that among the citizens in London that were under attack, some may have neutralized the threat with their right to carry.
It was an English King, King George III, who we can thank for our 2nd Amendment inclusion in our constitution.  It was this King who was attempting to remove firearms from the colonist for fear of an uprising against England.  So, after our constitution was approved, our Founders had promised to include amendments to our constitution that we know as the Bill of Rights. Imagine, we approved our constitution before the Bill of Rights were approved for inclusion a year later.  The states had put forward approximately 14 amendments and it was narrowed down to 10.  Today we see and hear members of Congress promising to do something for the good of the people if all we had to do was pass certain legislation, but we all know it would never happen.  Remember the promises of Obamacare.

So, as I have said many times, it is time for you to get trained in the use of firearms and then secure a carry permit.  If you live in a state that does not require a permit, you are extremely fortunate.  Just get the training to make sure you are proficient in firearm use, just in case you encounter a situation that may require using your training.
