Is Vitamin D the next rush to purchase?

A research performed by Northwestern University that analyzed data from hospitals and clinics from various countries found that those countries with high COVID-19 mortality rates had lower levels of vitamin D compared to countries that were not as severely affected.
I guess as this story travels around the country, we will see the shelves of vitamin D empty.  You can get vitamin D from sunshine as well as multi-vitamins so going outdoors can help unless you are in a blue state where going out is strictly vertoben.  I use the German word since what we are witnessing in these blue states and some cities in red states is what the German people in the 1930’s saw as well as China, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba to name a few today.
