Today, we are witnessing
disrespect for our flag and National Anthem by these athletes, many who should
be thanking those who died defending their rights and the ability to make mega
millions. Many of these veterans
were black that saw their duty and performed it. Makes you wonder if any of
these athletes knew who the Tuskegee airmen were? We are now witnessing political activist on
sport stations and on football fields as a form of protest that many athletes
cannot fully explain or actually understand.
We can watch the news for political comment, but we watch sports to
watch athletes perform in that sport and not engage in political activity on
that field. Maybe when viewership and
TV revenue declines, the players, the teams and the league will finally realize
that political activity does not belong on the field. Until
such time, they can take their sport and stick where the Sun doesn't shine.
Thank you former President Obama for creating this hatred of law enforcement that you started with you comment that the police acted stupidly in Cambridge Mass. during your first year that continued your entire time in office. You prove assholes are born everyday.
