How to resolve the transgender issue

The economy is not great, our government debt and spending continues to rise uncontrollably, the unemployment is really around 10% plus, businesses are cutting back, for some money is tight and we are in an election year and the big topic is gender identity.

Lately all we been seeing on the news is the fight over who can use what bathrooms.  On one side we have those who believe a person can use whatever bathroom is appropriate for how they may feel any particular day.  That is, does one feel like a women or man?  (Female or male for those who are confused)  We seem to have about 1 to 2 % of the population that are confused to what gender they identify with and we have those who feel one should use any bathroom they wish.  This bathroom issue now seems to be extending to locker rooms and showers.  To listen to these so called gender identity supporters, nothing should be off limits.  Naturally, most of us believe otherwise.  Therefore, I offer a solution.  We need two life size posters of a naked male and female together with a full length mirror and place these posters on either side of the mirror.  Then any person with a gender identity crisis can strip down naked, stand in front of the mirror and see which poster matches to their body.  Then that is the bathroom they should use.  There are only two other alternatives on this issue, either receive counseling that we are told will not work or have an operation to change oneself to the identity that person desires to be associated with.  But, if one chooses the operation, that person will have to receive counseling so the doctors can make sure there are no reservations, since there is no reversing the procedure.  Your body organs may say one thing, but your mind may say something else.  So, it is important that one correct this problem one way or the other to avoid a continuation of this issue and we can then get on to more important issues, like terrorism, economy, jobs and out of control government spending.  By the way, both parties suck on the spending issue.
