I will say,
you get the government you vote for. In
case of Chicago, most of the blacks vote is taken for granted by the democrats
as they vote only democrat and what we see in Chicago today and all the
shootings that have taken place just this year is the result of this blind
voting loyalty. If the voting blacks in Chicago would change
their selection in November 2016, they would send a message to the Democratic
Party that their vote is not automatic.
In fact, if this was done nationwide, the democrats would realize that
their rhetoric and freebees that are mainly used to suppress the blacks is the
beginning of the end. Chicago is
controlled by the democratic machine in the Mayor’s office and the city council
and have been in control for over 50 years and during that time corruption has
been rampant. That is why you always
here, “That is the Chicago way”. So,
when and until the voting blacks wake up and realize that their vote can bring
about change in Chicago, what we are witnessing will continue.
The shooting
by a Chicago police officer last year that prompted this demonstration, was
buried by the democrats, the mayor and the police dept. until after the Mayoralty
election. This shooting of course, is
not reflective of the many Chicago police officers that put their lives on the
line every hour of every day. Every
agency has some employees that either screw up or act inappropriate in
performing their job.
How you vote
is very important and when a particular party knows they will have your vote in
their back pocket, they will ignore your grievances, and give only lip service
to improvements. So, I would recommend that
the Chicago and Illinois voters wake up and make sure your vote is used
to make change. Of course, in Chicago, your
vote may be counted before voting. But
that is another topic for another time.
Just what
happened in NYC with Mayor DeBlasio where only 18% of registered NYC voters
voted in the past mayor election and the result is what NYC has today. A communist mayor who is clueless. Again, you get what you vote for or if you
decide not to exercise your legal right to vote.
