The police officer shot in the head over the weekend in St. Louis died. There were no looting, riots or burning down businesses nor did the NBA, MLB, NHL or professional soccer suspend their games for a day or two. Blues Lives Matter has no meaning to these overpaid athletes, unless of course they become a crime victim. But, as we have seen over the years, most of these contacts with police have to do with them getting arrested.
By the way, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department Chief
John Hayden said eight of his officers have been shot in the line of duty since
June 1. If the NY Times reported this,
it was probably on page 653 in a small column on the bottom.
