MLB AND NBA WALKOFF FIELD AND COURT

Due to recent police involved shootings of black individuals, the players in the NBA and MLB, Mets/Marlin game walked off the field yesterday in protest.  Many of these overpaid athletes do not live in the communities where these incidents happen and do their protest and then run home to their gated communities where they are protected by their security personnel.  Now, I wonder if they would suspend play if a police officer was killed.  I can probably say with 100% certainty they would not.  After all, just yesterday there were shootings in Chicago where 4 were killed and 12 injured and in NYC this week 51 shootings involving mostly blacks.  Now the fact that these victims were black does not seem to have an effect on these athletes.  But this can be expected since the police were not involved.  So, as long as we continue to see black on black crime we can rest assured that these professional sport games will not be suspended.  Le Bron James will continue to make his millions while black on black shootings continue.  But, let a police officer shoot a black person and then all hell will break loose.  When David Dorn, a retired black police chief was murdered in St. Louis, we heard nothing from these athletes nor outrage from the news media.  It was not a police involved shooting, just another dead black man who just happened to be a retired police officer.  No big deal.  In fact, during these violent riots over the past few months, many of the businesses looted and burned were black owned.  Did not see any of these overpaid athletes come to their aid or suspend their games.  Assault law enforcement, burn down precincts, destroy police vehicles is acceptable behavior and not one peep out of these overpaid athletes.

As of June 2020, 27 police officers were killed in the line of duty.  Do not recall any sports games suspended.  Last year, 2019, 48 police officers were feloniously killed in the line of duty compared to 55 unarmed suspects killed by police. Those unarmed suspects killed included 25 white suspects, 14 black suspects, and five Hispanic suspects.  This is no big deal since police officers are paid to go out there and get killed.  Part of the job.  Of course, if you are a criminal wanted for crimes or are caught in the process of committing a crime and resist arrest either physically or with a weapon, you may expect to be shot.  Every police officer knows when engaged either in a physical altercation with a suspect or a suspect with a weapon, you want to make sure you are the one that wins or you may be dead. Maybe some of these overpaid athletes should walk the neighborhoods in Chicago or NYC where most of this violence happens to see how they can calm the situation when it hits the fan.  Keep on dreaming.  Ride along with the police in these violent neighborhoods and then you will have a better understanding of events involving shootings or assaults.  If you are not an overpaid athlete, you can do this.

We had Drew Brees make comments on twitter a few months ago and was attacked and then he had to restate his position rather than stand up for his 1st Amendment.  He is a great quarterback, but when it comes to expressing his opinion that does not meet the radical left, he caves.  Shows he lacks a backbone.   Recently, golfer Rory McElroy played golf with President Trump and received backlash from twitter, many of whom probably have no idea what golf is, but then McElroy had to almost apologize for golfing with the president.  Another person, even though he is a citizen of Ireland, refused to stand his ground and showed he had no backbone.  The 1st Amendment would have protected him also.  But then again when you think about it, we have our Bill of Rights because of how King George III treated the colonies.  But we took care of that situation in 1776 and we will take care of those that oppose us expressing views they disagree with in the 2020 election.

Our country is at the crossroads of history.  Either we continue as a Constitutional Republic, or become a socialist dominated country run by elitists who believe they know what is better for us rather than us knowing we are better for us.  A government that will make decisions on what we can eat, drive, what job we will have, where we can live and goodbye to zoning regulations.  Goodbye suburbs.  We will see the UN Agenda 21 taking over forcing people out of the suburbs, back into cities so we can reduce our carbon footprint and make suburbs green again.  These radicals also want to reduce our carbon dioxide footprint.  So we either have to reduce the world population by about 4 billion people or we all hold our breath for an hour every day.  Of course that would be another way of reducing the population.  These radicals have no idea the benefits of carbon dioxide in keeping plants and trees green.   Sen. Bernie Sanders, pushing socialism/Marxism, has done well under capitalism owning 3 homes all worth over $650,000 each.  So, he has his, but he wants to make sure you do not.  November 3rd will decide our future.  Will we become another Venezuela or Cuba or continue the great growth we saw under President Trump before China unleashed their devastating virus.  But, this too we shall overcome and with the re-election of President Trump bring back our surging economy.

FLASH:  JUST BEEN REPORTED: JOE BIDEN WILL LEAVE HIS BASEMENT NEXT MONTH.  NEXT WEEK, IF YOU HAVE A FINISHED BASEMENT PLEASE CHECK TO SEE IF HE IS HIDING THERE.
