If by some freak of nature a Socialist Democrat ever got elected as president and they controlled Congress they would attempt to eliminate the 2nd Amendment. Changes in the any amendment to the Constitution cannot be done with just a majority of votes in congress, although, as long as we are not teaching American history in our schools, most of the young voters are clueless. However, would the movie makers in Hollywood survive if the 2nd Amendment was eliminated and guns cannot be used in their movies? Just about every movie is bang, bang shoot them up. But of course these people are supporters of communism, socialism and Marxism so they would be granted an exception. Naturally, the criminals would also keep their guns and the law abiding citizens would be the ones in danger from the criminals and government.
History has shown when governments take guns away from the people, the governments control the people. Check history and you will see the reason for gun removal is control. Our Founders knew this and that is why we have a 2nd Amendment. Of course, when we do not teach history, the people do not know.
