The anarchist vs. the Tea Party and the Electoral College

Since the election of Trump we have been witnessing how the tolerant progressives are extremely intolerant of anyone that expresses a different point of view.  These intolerant anarchist do not believe in the 1st Amendment and this has been displayed in the recent demonstrations, the safe speech zones on college campuses, the assault on Trump supporters and the language of hate and expressing violence against Trump.

Now, when the Tea Party was formed in 2009, many of those who joined objected to the forcible way Obama and congress push legislation against the objections of the republicans and the people. As Obama stated numerous times, “I have a pen and a phone”.  The Tea party was not violent, did not destroy property, assault police and voice threats of violence against Obama and Congress.   However, they did motivate voters to defeat the democrats in the 2012 and 2014 by giving the republicans control of both houses of congress to the dismay of the democrats and the main stream media that attempted to show the Tea Party members as violent extremist, but could not produce one video or such speech.

Now, we have video and audio of the statements and violence from the democratic anarchist that cannot accept the results of a fair election.  Instead these democratic anarchist want to ignore the vote of the populace, and would rather hand pick the candidate they want in the oval office. As we have seen with the rich and powerful, of which the democrats are mostly involved, are in a state of shock that their handpicked candidate, Hillary, which was rejected by the voters, did not win.  But, since they now claim that Trump did not win the popular vote, Hillary should be president.  Something our Founding Fathers knew could happen and therefore wanted the winning candidate to have the most Electoral College votes rather than the popular vote.  Now, you may ask, why did they do this and what prompted this to be included in the constitution?  Because, they realized at that time, with just 13 states, if they used the popular vote, then just three states at that time, Virginia, New York and Massachusetts would control the election process since they had the majority of the population and the other 10 states would have no voice.  So, the Electoral College gives all the states a vote in the election process.

Today, when you look at the population of some states, you realize that any candidate that had the support of no more than the 10 most populace states would win and most other states would have no say and would be ignored by the candidates.  The Electoral College makes every vote counts and every state important.

Now, if we can get a convention of states (38) to meet and vote to repeal the 17the Amendment, we would return the selection of congressional senators back to the state legislators.  Again, given the voters in these states a powerful voice in selecting their senate representative, in addition to voting for term limits of 2 terms for a senator and no more than 6 terms for a house member and no representative can serve more than a total of 12 years in congress.  Hopefully, this can move forward.  Naturally, congress cannot make amendments to the constitution, only the states can.  Thank our Founding Fathers for that.  We know, criminals will not legislate against themselves.

By the way, how come we have not heard from the Justice Dept., Obama and other democratic leaders on the violence of the democratic anarchist?  Yet they were quick to respond to Ferguson MO. and Baltimore Maryland riots.  The answer is obvious, but you decide.
