The Hobby Lobby decision seems to bring out the radical left
with their usual false rhetoric. The
left are claiming that Supreme Court decision now denies a women the right to
birth control. Of course, anyone with
half a brain knows that is just one of the many lies from the left combined
with a false war on women. In fact, if
the clueless who believe this rhetoric would just go into a pharmacy or WalMart
they will find miraculously, they can actually purchase birth control for
themselves or anyone else. Of course
the key is they will have to pay for it and not the taxpayer or their
employer. But the employer must be what
one would consider a privately family typed owned business. This ruling would not apply to a company
like GM, GE, Microsoft etc. So Sandra
Fluke may have to spend money for her sex life. I and many others do not believe we should be forced to pay for
someone else's sexual lifestyle. If
someone wants to have a active sex life, maybe they should have to pay for
it. If they want an abortion as a
result of their active sex life, they should pay for that also. At least the Hobby Lobby decision recognizes
that a person's or company's religious beliefs are in conformance with the 1st
Amendment in the constitution. A
constitution by the way, this president has trouble accepting, acknowledging,
or following.
But, be prepared for more of "I have a pen and a
phone" actions from this president even though the Supreme Court issued
two 9-0 decisions against such action.
This president will do whatever he wants regardless if it is in
violation of the constitution and see if he can get away with it. That is his MO.
The constitution can only be changed through the amendment
process and not through legislation.
However, the liberals in the Supreme Court and many liberals in congress
like to tell people that the constitution is a living breathing document. That is, the courts and congress can change
it. This belief is frightening and can
lead to denial of all the 1st ten amendments to the constitution. And why?
Because this president believes all your rights should come from
government and not God. He said it, not
me.
