The world in turmoil, but...............

The world is in turmoil, our country is running up debt as if our money supply is unlimited, our representatives in Congress are more interested in the 2014 election, Obamacare is destroying lives and what was the best health care in the world and yet the big discussion this week is what Fox News, Megyn Kelly said about Santa Claus being white and so was Jesus.  Any discussion to avoid discussing the real issues facing our country.  Santa Claus can be any color you want him to be, and Jesus is for all of us and color does not matter, but in the interest of diverting attention from what is going on in Washington, we get involved in stupid discussions.  Jesus is the reason for the season and Santa Claus is just that, an imaginary person for the benefit of kids and how shocking some of us were when we learned Santa Claus was not real.  But we got over that quickly.  But we will not get over our country's problems unless we actually address them rather than continue to kick the can down the road.   

We have a president whose poll numbers are tanking but in reality, he does not care like other presidents in the past.  Now why is that?  Because he is a follower of Saul Alinsky, an avowed communist, where the end justify the means and that is what President Obama is doing where is agenda is to destroy this country.  Remember his early educational years were in Indonesia where he was taught hatred of our country and this has carried over into his life today.  Destroy American and you can save the world.  This is what he believes and if you are honest with yourself and review his life and his administration up to today, that is the only solution you can come up with.   

Congress has no problem spending money since the money does not come out of their pocket.  If they need more money, just raise fees and increase taxes.  You and me must monitor our expenses and income to make sure we are living within our income.  Another way to look at our debt problem is if your salary is $27,000 annually, you spend $39,000 annually and have credit card debt of $170,000.  Your question to answer this dilemma is how would you solve the problem?  Reduce spending or print money to pay the debt?  Now printing money will get you a nice place in jail, continual spending without regard of where the money is coming from will eventually get you into bankruptcy.  And where would the money come from since you do not have it.  Steal? Like congress is doing to us by increasing taxes, fees and a complete disregard of our children's future or should we say what future?  They will not have a country that we came to know and love when we grew up.  Remember, President Bush left us $10 Trillion in debt and in 5 years of President Obama, we have seen that increase to over $17 Trillion.  When will this madness end?  Answer, when we wake up and demand our congressional representatives reduce our deficit or we demand a constitutional convention to address a balance budget amendment, repeal of 17th amendment, and term limits and not anything on the Bill of Rights.  If we could get 38 state legislators to vote for these amendments, they become part of our constitution.  Congress cannot pass amendments without state approval and we all know criminals (congress) will not legislate against themselves.  Or, we could remain silent and watch us destroy ourselves without a shot being fired.  Who would have thought.
