La Vegas shooting

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this tragedy and hopefully our law enforcement personnel together with other Federal agencies will develop a clear picture of what motivated this shooter and how he secured the weapons he possessed.

But, as we have learned from previous similar incidents, the left are again calling for gun control.  Naturally, they will not answer who gun control will affect.  Those of us who actually have a brain and use it, know gun control will only affect the law abiding citizens.  Criminals or those intent on engaging in criminal activity will always secure a weapon.  Then again, should we also call for knife control and automobiles and truck control on who can purchase, lease or rent any of these items?  After, these items have been used in committing violent acts in this country as well as in Europe.  I guess all the shootings through criminal activity in Chicago were by individuals who legally purchased a firearm.  And if you believe that, I know a bridge in Brooklyn for Sale. 

So, instead of waiting until all the facts are in, will we know what issues or issue drove this individual to do what he did.  Know all the facts before you draw a collusion.  But, if you are a member of the liberal left, we know that you already know the facts and do not need an investigation to determine the facts.   

I also wonder if the left will resume their attack on law enforcement who in situations of this nature are always facing danger and the unknown, but go forward to resolve the situation.   They risk their lives to protect people of all color, nationality and faith, and are not concerned about the petty issues we see on display by the NFL and the players as well as black lives matter and the terrorist group Antifa.    

I would like add that President Trump did not bring up gun control as we have seen numerous times by former President Obama as the first comment in other shooting situations or using race as an issue.  What a difference.
